What is Zhopped?
Zhopped was created with the dilemma that we’ve all encountered before. Either ourselves or someone we know, wished for some modifications made to an image or photo of theirs, and unfortunately don't have the technical skills to make it happen. Zhopped is here to do just that. Need a photo edited? Upload it here onto Zhopped and let the internet help you with that. And best of all, its free!
Zhopped is an online, community-backed site in which generous people with great talents help others in need of editing help of their photos. Users who lack the knowledge of how to make modifications to their photos can upload their requests along with a description of their wishes. Other users, whether they are professionals or hobbyists, exploit their creative skills in satisfying their requests and results are many times epic.
Spread the word and share some of your favorite threads with others so everyone can know about this site. Whether they're in need of help or looking to help others. Everyone is welcome.
What kinds of things are possible?
Many possibilites are possible with photo editing tools today, from minor photo touchups to entirely new creations from scratch. Tools utilized in editing pictures include: Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Corel Photopaint, Pixelmator, Paint.NET, and GIMP. Possiblities include:
- Exposure Correction
- White Balance/Color Correction
- Change to black and white photo
- Blemish removal
- Color restoration
- Red eye removal
- Removing someone from the photo
- Color changes
- Face swaps
- and more!
What kinds of files do you support? What's the maximum file size that can be uploaded?
We currently support jpg, gif or png. The maximum uploaded file size we support is 10mb which is later compressed to 1mb for static image files. The maximum supported filesize for .gif's are 2mb.
Do I need an account to utilize Zhopped?
Yes. Creating an account will help you track and notify when someone comments or fulfills your picture edit request. You can also speed up the account creation by securely signing in with a variety of social media account options.
Can I delete my request?
Yes. Go to your profile > my requests and click on the trash can for the desired request you want to delete.
How come I still see my request thread after I deleted it?
You may permanently wipe all traces of your request as long as no one has already created an edit for you. If edits for your requests have been submitted, we remove your username from your request thread. We don’t want to waste anyone’s time and effort in editing your image do we?
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to your profile page > settings and tick the delete account box and hit "delete account" to permanently delete your account. Your username will be disassociated from your all your post requests and/or messages.
Can I undelete my account?
No. Please be sure you want to delete your account in the first place. All your information will be deleted and cannot be retrieved. You will have to create a new account.
Can I switch my username?
At this point in time, we do not allow for username changes. You may delete your account and create a new one under a new name though all the information will not be carried over from account to account.
How do I benefit as an editor?
As creative artists ourselves, we understand just as much as you do and we're on your side about doing work for others for free. But we also know many people have good hearts and are willing to help others if the task is not too tedious and we value those characteristics a lot. But we are cooking something up for editors as well. Expect some contests, giveways, and a marketplace in which editors will benefit and make money from.
